It’s no secret that we support young, female professionals. We admire their go-getter attitudes and enthusiasm for their work.
When one of those young professionals creates a business dedicated to empowering women around the globe, we are even more excited.
That’s why we chatted over email with Jane Mosbacher Morris, the founder of TO THE MARKET. This website sells goods made by survivors of abuse, conflict and disease. Its goal is to create a marketplace where stories of independence and beautiful, handmade products merge.
We are so excited to share our exclusive interview with Jane, who was named one of the Diplomatic Courier’s “Top 99 Under 33 Most Influential Young Professionals” in 2011. She previously served as the Director of Humanitarian Action for the McCain Institute for International Leadership.
