Here’s the best way to deal with finals: Procrastinate by watching (or re-watching) six seasons of “Gossip Girl,” and drink away your stress.

The characters in “Gossip Girl,” which ended in 2012 and can be found on Netflix, will make you forget your finals-week woes. A “B” in bio is no match for a group of Upper-East-Side teens’ dramatic fights, friendship fallouts and drug addictions.

Student Government discusses budget raise

The UF Student Government fee committee met Wednesday to discuss raising student activity and service fees.

Ty Robare (Impact), vice chairman of the budget appropriations committee, and UF Student Body treasurer Nicholas Carre (Access) said there should be an increase in the budget of $0.51 per credit hour to keep up with operational costs of the Reitz Union expansion, add another Sorority and Fraternity Affairs adviser, add a RecSports dietitian and expand its CORE program, which will help students go on domestic trips. The current student fees are $19.06 per credit hour. With the increase, it would be $19.57 per credit hour.

UF is working on admission process

UF will soon make it easier for incoming freshmen to apply to college.

Starting in January 2016, UF will launch a digital platform for high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors to store their transcripts, volunteer hours and test scores.
